He's the best!

I have such an amazing husband! Since I've been pregnant he has been so supportive and sweet.

He peels my oranges :)
He tells me I'm sexy, even when I know I look like hell!
He always opens doors for me, even tho he doesn't need to.
When I have a craving at 6:00am on Saturday morning for english muffins, cream cheese, peanut butter and orange juice, he volunteers to run to the store with out me even asking him.
He asks me If I know how much he loves me and if he tells me enough... man I love him!!!
He asks to paint my nails and braid my hair.
And even when I'm being a pain in the butt, pregnant, emotional lady he doesn't show that he's annoyed.

I'm a lucky girl and I never forget that!

My Monday

So far...
6:00am- was woken up with kisses from the Hubby
6:01am- went right back to sleep. I had another crazy dream, this time I was being chased.
6:30am- went pee, then fell asleep again
7:00am- hit snooze on the alarm
7:15am- got up and got ready for work (really quickly)
7:40am- took Ayana to school
7:50am- rushed to work, while scarfing a bagel with cream cheese
8:30am- had a bowl of shredded wheat cereal at my desk
9:00am- had a fruit cup at my desk
10:00am- started to fight the urge to eat something else
11:00am- still fighting the urge / blogging

HURRY UP LUNCHTIME!

later I plan to indulge in all of my cravings... Jamba Juice, an orange... or two, carrots with ranch and some sort of baby/pregnant safe sushi. Mmmmmm!

Adventures of Pregnanthood

Being pregnant is a miraculous thing, it's so amazing and beautiful! You always hear the wonderful stories women tell about being pregnant, but no woman can ever be fully prepared for what pregnancy brings. Let me tell you, it's not always easy and sometimes it's just downright weird!

Here are a few of my interesting experiences so far. The true, untold stories of pregnancy...

I now can NOT stand the smell of my favorite purse. Every time I reach in to grab my keys or wallet I have to hold my breath, or I'll gag. I've made the Hub and about 20 other people smell it to see if they can smell what I do, but nope, it's just me.

A restful nights sleep is already a thing of the past for me. No, it's not the peeing 3 times a night or repositioning my belly that bothers me. It is my insane, scary, gruesome, intense dreams! Whether it's zombies eating me, ghosts terrifying me or car crashes killing me, they are always so crazy!

Oranges! Big ones, little ones, juicy ones... they're all my favorite! Every once in a while I'll have only 1 orange a day but on a typical pregnant day, I must eat up to 4 oranges to keep me satisfied. The other night, I woke up at 11:30pm, got out of bed and had to go eat an orange. It's serious.

Food is delicious, I have no problem eating it, but if I smell it cooking I am disgusted and have to leave the room. In order to make dinner, I have to breath only through my mouth so I can't smell anything and every window and door must be open. Such a pain in the butt!

And that's just a few!
Regardless of all the weird and crazy things I may have to go through during this pregnancy, I know it is all so worth it!

♥ Always,
The Pregnant One

A Tiny Fib...

Okay, I have a confession to make. Remember a few posts ago, I told you that the Hub and I were "getting ready" for babies, but we weren't "trying" quite yet.... well, we kinda were! We were multitasking, "getting ready" and "trying" at the same time! Soooo, drum roll please...

I'M PREGNANT! :) Yipee! Yay! Hooray! Woo-hoo!

Isaac and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little Love just in time for our one year wedding anniversary! Our expected due date is September 2, 2011. I couldn't be happier! I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be a mother! I get to bring a precious life into this world that was created by such a beautiful bond. I am already so much MORE in love with Isaac. He helped create the greatest gift I will ever receive, our sweet baby. I have never been so thankful in my life. God is so good!
