Tuesday's To-Do List

Baby Shower Prep...

On my lunch break:
-Buy; ribbon, toothpicks, drinks, candy

After work:
-Buy a ton of food
-Make room in the fridge for all of the food we buy
-Figure out how I'm going to make the baby shower favors
-Do a couple loads of laundry because I won't have time to the rest of the week
-Find a cute dress for me to wear to the shower... the belly outgrew all of my dresses :/
-Make the Hub get a haircut, he's got a pretty sweet afro at the moment

We have so much to do before Saturday, this week is going to fly by! Before we know it, it will be Baby Shower time! So exciting :) I can't wait to see all of our family and friends!

Fancy-shmancy!

How adorable are these cottage beds?! I have a feeling Isaac is going to be a busy Daddy over the next few years :) I can't wait to see all of the neat things he builds for Sienna. I'm so lucky to have such a handy husband. It seems like he can fix or build anything, even if he's had no prior experience. Our kiddos are gonna have the coolest Papa!

Post-baby

Here's a little list of things that I am looking forward to post-baby... other than snuggling my little lady and all that sweet stuff.

What Mama misses:

wine
sushi
sex in ANY position I'd like
picking things up with my hands, not my feet
running
sexy lingerie
falling asleep holding my hubby, not a full body pillow

I can imagine it now.... getting dressed up and going on a sushi date with the Hub and our baby girl. Afterwards, coming home and putting Sienna to bed. Then, breaking out the bottle of wine, yum! After the wine is gone, I'll sneak into the room to put on something sexy (and that fits!), followed by many positions of you-know-what. Then falling asleep cuddling my Love, with no belly or pillows between us.

I know some of you moms are probably laughing your ass off right now, but a girl can dream, can't she?!

Sometimes...

The baby gives me a swift kick to the crotch that makes me accidentally pee a teeny bit. Thank goodness for pantyliners... better safe than sorry!

I walk around my house in a bra and undies, the AC on full blast, the fan going, all the while my sweet hubby is shivering in the corner.

I have to blow on my boobs. Why you ask? To cool those puppies down! They're big, heavy and get really hot! They are like two heaters that rest on top of my belly. I'm not use to having them! My pre-pregnancy boobs never got in the way, they were light as a feather and never got HOT! I never thought I would say this but... I miss my small boobs! I know what you are thinking, "wait til your milk comes in". I know, I know.

I put milk in the cabinet and cereal in the fridge, or walk around a parking lot beeping my car for ten minutes because I can't remember where I parked. I thought "baby brain" was a myth, nope, it's 100% real.
